Three different actresses played Mrs. George Rogers,(mother of the top-billed Frank Coghlan Jr. as "Sonny" Rogers and the 2nd- billed Shirley Temple as "Mary Lou Rogers." And two different actresses, Dorothy Ward and Mary Brickford, played the part of Phyllis Deal,, Sonny's sweetheart.
